Some important words in CNC processing


There’re some important nouns in CNC processing, let us know them.

(1) Pulse equivalent: refers to the minimum interval that can be distinguished between two adjacent scattered details, which is an important accuracy index (pulse equivalent: the distance of coordinate axis movement for each pulse sent out by CNC machine tool)cnc rapid prototyping

(2) Positioning accuracy: the accuracy of the actual position of moving parts such as index controlled machine tool workbench at the determined end point

(3) repeated positioning accuracy: refers to the consistency of continuous results obtained by machining a batch of parts with the same program and the same code on the same CNC machine tool


(4) FMC: flexible manufacturing ce11, FMS: flexible manufacturing system, CIMS: computer integrated manufacturing system, CIMS
